Guzzini Aqua Blue and White Acrylic and Porcelain Mug Feeling

LThe Feeling Mug from Guzzini is something of a ‘secret’. It no longer appears on Guzzini’s website or in the catalogue but it it still in production because it is so popular. Quite simply this is our favourite mug ever! The translucent acrylic handle is a thing of beauty and the porcelain body seems to endure beyond all other mugs. We have Feeling mugs which are 12 years old now and still look brand new despite being used and dishwashered every day.

Guzzini has a long history of innovation, which dates all the way back to 1912. Enrico Guzzini began the story, by drawing on inspirations from his travels abroad to create unique objects from ox horn. In 1938, the next generation introduced Plexiglass into the home, and by 1960, Guzzini had pioneered the way for domestic-use plastic items, using technologies such as thermoforming, and injection-molding. By 1996 the brand had paired their penchant for plastic with porcelain, creating the world’s first porcelain cup with two-coloured acrylic handles. Then, Guzzini teamed acrylic with steel for a cutlery range. Today, their innovation extends to new and recycled plastics with their Circle initiative, which develops ecological and sustainable products that perform on function.
